The Talk About Youth project is a community based youth project, in St
Andrews Resource Centre in Pearse street, Dublin 2. We are inviting
suitably qualified persons to apply for the post of part ?time Youth
Worker (**Apply on the website** hrs). The post involves the delivery
of a range of programmes for and with ?at risk? young people,
whilst working to the UBU, Your Place, Your Space scheme.
The Youth Yorker will work within a staff team and will also have a
role in supporting volunteers. The post will involve evening work and
residential work, when it is safe to do so.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
* An NSETS recognised professionally endorsed qualification in Youth
Work or Youth and Community Work
Or
* Have worked with young people for two years full time in a youth
work setting and have an equivalent professional qualification within
the social studies/youth work/education or community development field
If you have drive and enthusiasm and are a team player who understands
the needs of young people and are committed to providing them with
quality services, this could be the job for you.

SALARY: CDYSB Youth Worker scale
